About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Woman in White,” a 19” x 16” acrylic on paper centered on a faceless female form in luminous white. The faceless figure is a signature of contemporary Tucson painter Jean Wallin, who uses it to evoke serenity and presence rather than identity, set within her softly shifting fields of color. The pale palette gives the piece a quiet, meditative purity. Its intimate scale suits a considered spot where the subtlety can be appreciated, framed on a contemporary wall. This is a one-of-a-kind original painting, signed by the artist and never a reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, “Woman in White” embodies Wallin’s contemplative, sensually serene style, an original Jean Wallin painting of calm and grace.
