About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Red Spot,” a bold 24” x 24” work on board built around a single charged passage of red set into Wallin’s characteristic shifting color fields. A contemporary Tucson-based painter, Wallin layers acrylic to balance abstraction with just enough suggestion of form, and here that tension gives the composition its pull, the eye drawn again and again to the focal red. The generous square format makes it a striking modern statement piece. This is a one-of-a-kind original painting, signed by the artist, never a print or reproduction. For anyone collecting contemporary abstract art, “Red Spot” delivers Wallin’s blend of energy and restraint, an original Jean Wallin painting that anchors a wall with color and confidence.
