About this piece
Jean Wallin original acrylic painting for sale: “Golden Hill,” a 16” x 16” canvas (21” x 21” framed) built from warm golds and layered, sunlit color. Contemporary Tucson-based artist Jean Wallin abstracts the Southwestern landscape into shifting fields that glow rather than describe, and “Golden Hill” distills that light into a single radiant impression of place. Framed and ready to hang, its intimate scale suits a considered spot where the color can be enjoyed up close. This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist, not a print or reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract and Southwestern art, the piece offers Wallin’s blend of warmth and contemplative calm: an original Jean Wallin painting that carries the feel of golden-hour light indoors.
