About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Strong Woman in Blues,” a commanding 30” x 22” acrylic on paper in which a faceless female form is rendered in rich, layered blues. The faceless figure is central to contemporary Tucson painter Jean Wallin’s work, standing for presence and inner strength rather than a single identity, and here the cool blue palette lends the woman a grounded, powerful calm. Wallin’s shifting fields surround her like weather. At this generous size, framed, it makes a substantial original statement. This is a one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist and never a reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, the piece embodies Wallin’s themes of femininity and quiet power, an original Jean Wallin painting with real gravity.
