About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Rainbow Girl,” a 26” x 20” acrylic on paper in which a faceless female figure is dissolved into a full, shifting spectrum of color. Contemporary Tucson-based artist Jean Wallin uses the faceless form to universalize her women, and here the joyful range of hues turns the figure into a celebration of color itself. Her fluid brushwork on paper keeps the piece lively and immediate. Generously sized, it makes a vibrant original centerpiece when framed. This is a one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist and never a reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, “Rainbow Girl” delivers Wallin’s signature blend of exuberant palette and quiet mystery, an original Jean Wallin painting full of movement and light.
