About this piece
Jean Wallin original acrylic painting for sale: “Figure on Yellow Light,” a large 30” x 22” acrylic on paper in which a faceless form glows against a radiant field of yellow. Contemporary Tucson-based artist Jean Wallin sets her abstracted figure into warm, luminous color, and here the golden light becomes almost a second subject, an atmosphere the figure floats within. Her layered handling keeps the mood contemplative rather than literal. At this generous size, framed, it makes a warm, uplifting original centerpiece. This is a one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist, not a print. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, the piece captures Wallin’s gift for light and color, an original Jean Wallin painting that seems to glow from within.
