About this piece
Jean Wallin original acrylic painting for sale: “Egyptian Lady,” a 20” x 16” work on board (26” x 22” framed) in which a faceless female form takes on an air of ancient, statuesque mystery. Contemporary Tucson-based artist Jean Wallin abstracts the female figure into something universal and timeless, and here classical, Egyptian overtones give the woman a regal stillness within Wallin’s shifting fields of color. Framed and ready to hang, its scale makes it a confident focal point. This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist, not a print or reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, “Egyptian Lady” delivers Wallin’s blend of sensual color and contemplative mystery, an original Jean Wallin painting with a commanding, iconic presence.
