About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Canyon Place #2,” a 10” x 10” work on board that abstracts the layered rock of the Southwestern canyon country into warm, shifting bands of color. Contemporary artist Jean Wallin, based in Tucson, distills landscape into mood and texture rather than literal detail, and this small canvas captures the quiet weight of desert stone. Its intimate square format makes it a perfect accent original for a shelf, nook, or salon-style wall. This is a one-of-a-kind original painting, signed by the artist and never a print or reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract and Southwestern art at an accessible price, “Canyon Place #2” offers Wallin’s contemplative sense of place, an original Jean Wallin painting rich with desert warmth.
