About this piece
Original Jean Wallin acrylic painting for sale: “Best of a Big Bold Guy,” a large 30” x 22” acrylic on paper that turns Wallin’s usual focus on the female form toward a confident male figure. Contemporary Tucson-based artist Jean Wallin keeps the figure faceless and abstracted, letting bold scale and assertive color carry the personality the title promises. Her layered fields give the piece energy and swagger. At this generous size, framed, it makes a striking original statement with real character. This is a one-of-a-kind painting, signed by the artist and never a reproduction. For collectors of contemporary abstract figurative art, the work shows Wallin’s range and humor, an original Jean Wallin painting with bold presence and a knowing wink.
